The play is based on a true story, proving that real life drama can be stranger than fiction. Robb Willoughby tells this story of rape, murder, and deception through a series of flashbacks throughout the play. He cleverly keeps his audience guessing until the very end.

ROB WILLOUGHBY is the playwright of Lie on the Water, the third play of the season. Robb also co-wrote, co-starred and directed 8 Ball at the Playwrights Theatre in Los Angeles in 2002. His MoonBase, a sci-fi, comedy was presented by ETC, INC. Theatre Company in LA, also in 2002 and his Dirty laundry, a suspense-thriller, was presented in workshop at the RattleStick Theater in NYC, as a member of the Playwrights Horizon’s Playwriting Forum in 2003. Other plays by Mr. Willoughby are Diva by Default, Lady Killer, Ruby Pink, and Southern Jesus. He has also written two screenplays, Father and Son and Xenia (OH).
