This winning play takes place in the Saratoga mansion of the flamboyant Viktor Belkin, an aging dancer and choreographer. The play is about Viktor and his dance critic friend of thirty years and how each man has unwelcome plans for the life of the other.

John Fiorillo is a playwright and former off-Bdwy lighting designer and production manager. His play, Immortal Enemies (formerly titled Leonardo), was a winner of the 2005 Ashland New Plays Festival competition, where it was performed as a staged reading by members of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival Co. It was produced at the Darien Performing Arts Center during the 2006 season. It was given a staged reading by Showcase Theatre in 2004. Mr. Fiorillo’s work has been performed in NY, NJ, MA, CT, OR, CA, and London, England. He is the author of ten plays including, Friends with Benefits, presented by GoldenSquirrel Productions; The Eighth Deadly Sin, produced by the New Jersey Repertory Company; No Trespassing-This Land Is Posted, presented by the Triangle Theatre; Italian-American Pie, produced by Polaris North; and Our Dilemma, produced jointly by the Harrogate Theatre in England and Brooklyn College in NY. This year his play, Dancing Backwards, is the Winner of the W Keith Hedrick Playwriting Contest.
