This funny mystery takes place on the Mexican border of California at Grace's Bar and Grill. The Narcotics officer of the Southern California district is out to revive his reputation by tracking down dope smugglers and gets involved with a number of interesting characters, including a retired Mafia Don now living in Mexico.

JOHN WOLFSON is the playwright of the anti-Viet Nam War play, The Peace Creeps, which was produced in NYC with James Earl Jones and Al Pacino. Other of his productions include Jimmy Paradise with Sam Waterston, Flight 101 with Peter Riegert, A Midsummernight’s Trip with Bud Cort, The Inn at Lydda with Paul Lipson and An Evening with W. S. Gilbert with George Irving. John has written the lyrics and book to the musical The Pants That Won the West-The Story of Levi Strauss, which placed first in the Quest for New Musicals in London. His plays haave been produced by the Poet’s Theatre, New Theatre Workshop, Circle in the Square, Provincetown Playhouse, Playwrights Horizons, O’neill Theatre Center, Musical Theatre Works, and Questors Theatre Club in London. This Senseless Killing was given a stage reading by Showcase Theatre in 1999. He has been in London this past summer working at the Globe Theatre, and is returning to Hudson for the stage reading of his play, The Don, by Showcase Theatre as the first offering on October 8th.
